Of Springfield, VA on Saturday, January 1, 2005. He was the proud and loving father of Susan "Suzy" Brittingham; brother of Robert L. Brittingham of Memphis, TN; best friend and sweetheart of Wendy Newman and her son, Michael Newman. He is also survived by Teresa Brittingham and Brian Triplett. He was a graduate of the Citadel, Class of 1966 and the Director of Honor Bound Foundation. Family will receive friends Sunday, January 9 from 2 to 5 p.m. at DEMAINE SPRINGFIELD-ANNANDALE FUNERAL CHAPEL, Backlick & Edsall Rds., Springfield, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will held at Ft. Myer Chapel, Thursday, February 17 at 10:45 a.m. Interment to follow with Full Military Honors at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Honor Bound Foundation for the Legacy of the Those Who Serve, Inc., 205 Pony Ct., West Chester, PA 19382.
