I rode the bus with you home. You were so talented and funny.  You did not deserve to be murdered.  I think of you and Sallie often.  pat sessions davis

Bobs' talent early on was remarkable.  I remember in 2nd grade, Ms. Dawson's class, we were all instructed to draw to the best of our ability, a bird.  How difficult was that. Hmmmmmmmmm, the only picture that looked like a bird was the one Bobby drew. It was a Cardinal and the most amazing drawing.  His talent was beyond our years. We lost a wonderful and talented man. I'm so sorry he lost his life in such a manner.  Bobby will be missed.;

Soon after moving to Clearwater, we met Bobby's parents when they had a motel and sold outdoor furniture items. This was south of Clearwater towards Largo. I believe it might have been on Fort Harrison. That would have been in the early 1950's. Later on his Dad took up barbering. Bobby and I became friends  - we lived an easy bike ride apart. He was very artistic. I recall several of their Christmas trees that he had decorated. Wow....they really stood out among the things he did.

Bobby and I and occasionally a few others spent a big part of one summer vacation playing "Clue". I don't know what there was about that game, but it kept our attention. We also had tropical fish and each had aquariums that the other of us envied. We drifted apart our last years in High School and my family left Clearwater very soon after my graduation from Clearwater High.  I went to college out of state.

I noticed one entry about him that said Bobby had been murdered. I communicated with another classmate years ago and he said that Bobby killed himself. More recently, just few years ago, I asked Bill to request information on what did happen to Bobby.  No one must have ever responded or at that time no one knew as there was no further comments on Bobby. Those are two pretty big differences. Having known Bobby, I find suicide difficult to accept.
