I only learned of Jimmy's passing years after he was gone. Jimmy and I grew up together on the beach and were inseparable for years. We were part of the beach gang with Jimmy Gonatos, Mark Marshall, Doug Cosby and Jerry Goetz. Our families were close and we were a lot like brothers. He died too young and will be missed, the thought of him will always bring a smile to my face.
